Secrets of Sinauli- Review
A mindblowing discovery
mind=blown
It's quite late to post any review for 'secrets of Sinauli'. But still Untrodden Path is all set to speak her heart out over here so it really doesn't matter!Like every review I would like to say that I am no one to comment on anything like screenplay, animations, data and all those fancy terms. I would rather talk (write)-right? about what I enjoyed overall.
So here below are few reasons why one may or may not watch this documentary.
- It has Manoj bajpayee as anchor.The way he narrates the story of Sinauli just blows my mind.
- Sinauli itself is an intriguing topic.Sinauli,located in Baghpat in Uttar Pradesh has become a treasure of bronze age Indian antiquities.There were different types of coffins each speaking out stories of the people of Sinauli.It is however very difficult for archaeologists to demystify who these people were? There are only assumptions.Were they related to Indus valley or they were a completely different vedic civilisation.It is hard to say anything.There were traces that suggest they were a warrior clan,Even coffins having women had arrows and bows,isn't it strange??
- It showcased the techniques used by Modern Indian Archaeologists.This year I had a chapter called Discovering tut in English.It somewhere gave me an idea of modern archaeology.This documentary elaborated how present day archaeologists lead their missions!There was an expert saying that we need to study all these historical sites with scientific methods,Science can act as a catalyst but however relating and correlating can be done by a historian only.
Overall,its a great watch.It gave me a sense of pride throughout, may be these secret sinauli clan had been our ancestor! Honestly, before watching this documentary I was not aware of Sinauli so in order to compensate my sin I thought of spilling over whatever I knew about Sinauli here!
