Rain: Song of soul
Monsoon Arrives
Rain, downpour, trickle or rimjhim all confers the same meaning that is song of soul. After experiencing scorching heat of Delhi, rain is indeed a heavenly gift. I remember it was on 15th june when IMD declared Monsoon is reaching within a week. I was regularly following these stories when there was a kind countdown of monsoon. It reached everywhere even Jaisalmer but Delhi was yet untouched by the monsoon winds. It took more than a month for the monsoon winds to reach Delhi. They did pass from Delhi and nearby area but yet the moisture content was less and was not enough to bring the much awaited monsoon rains.
After reading You only Live once, I was waiting for rains like anything else. There was an ocean of emotions which needed these drops of rain. Since I could not go to the Palolem Beach in Goa , so the only relable thing that was beautifully picturised in the novel was' Rain'. It was the very first time when I was waiting for rains like this. I think my purpose of reading yolo is completed as I just found the literal truth in this line, ' rain ignites a flame in everyone's soul.'
Now talking about the delay in monsoons As I am taking humanities in class eleventh so I was convinced with the fact that geography is not that easy and one reason for saying this was 'climatology'. And now I have realised why this so as these things are constantly changing and monsoons have become so unpredictable over the years that even IMD can not predict the monsoons precisely.
Overall it is a pleasant surprise! as all is well that ends well.
